I do not gamble with pre-recorded cassettes, unless this is something you cannot get in any other format:

Trance to the Sun: my neighbors from Santa Barbara. Their later efforts available on CDs, sublime!!! If u r like me spinning Bruckner and Tchaikovsky thru your stereos, you must give them a chance...
Loop, the epitome of shoegazing... Who needs Prosak if there is a tune to slooow u down?...Coldplay cashed on the idea, then f@&$-ed it up:(Anyooo, right now I am listening toEruption (Precious Wilson) cassette recorded from LP (Linn Sondek onto Nak LX-3) and played thru The Philips Elephant! Life is GOOD! Tomorrow is yet approaching, with duties and boring details, but tonight I am free with lowly Disco;)

Hmm, I love to find some old musicassettes at the flea market, specially if they aren't spanish releases, which have the baddest quality.

I'm not into that kind of music in general but wow, I'm jealous of some of them (Prince, Cars, Vanilla Ice, M.C Hammer etc). Good find =w=

if i could choose fro this box, i would choose KLF - the white room and Genesis - and then there were three -

    - and than, i'm curious: what's on the Levis Great Rock & Roll Hits (...i bet it's all mainstream) ?

great find, please just do something against those Mariah Carey - tapes, seriously, makes me scared !!! ;-)

    from right to left:

a split-cassette from DRUSS / UIUTNA (industrial/drone), KID MILLION - 100 Disciplines (experimental) and a TALL DWARFS sorta "best off" (80'ies australian alternative)

    IMG_3737.jpg

the last one i just bought because wax from TALL DWARFS is so ridiculous expensive...

Really? I got the limited CD+cassette box for less than €30 from a japanese seller on eBay. New.
And there's loads left on eBay, it's not a really popular soundtrack apparently.

It's not really a quality cassette and the shell is cheap, but it's a nice display piece...

Bought an album on cassette store day, I am not so willing to spend as much money on pre-recorded albums but I like to throw a bone to indépendant and up-and-coming artists.

Ordered the wrong cassette on amazon and it turned out to be a good mistake as it has some great music.

The JVC compact component I, bought for $10.00 CND at a thrift store last week, it came with original speakers and it all works great too, just missing the remote control.

Oh, now I see the Trick or Treat one at the bottom. I've just updated my "walkmans &cassettes in movies" page with this particular movie.
