      This is the correct belt routing for the Z1 mechanism.
      It replaces a previous picture where the belt was routed as-received with the unit in some poor repairing attempts that are not worth discussing.
      Marian (@mihokm) gracefully provides the correct belt for this unit, which is thinner than pictured, as it's supposed to be. Thanks, Marian!

  • Things look better after a thorough soap bath. All gears were removed and cleaned in a soapy solution with lukewarm water. It’s not shown, but there are more gears on the other side. In the process I installed a replacement screw for the fourth motor support.
    I also fixed the flex cable and redid the entire cable at the bottom which connects the record enable and state switches and the main solenoid to the PCB.
