Hi! Just getting back into the portable arena. I've always loved and owned vintage stereo equipment, but have recently rekindled a love for small portable cassette players. I'm looking forward to learning a lot, and to collecting and restoring some cool units. Born in '81, I spent my youth with cassette and then transitioned to CD. The former makes me warm and fuzzy inside.

Partial list of my portable collection, in various states of repair, all with great cosmetics:

AIWA HS-JX2000 mint complete in box with paperwork
CYBERNET PS-103 w/case and FM module, aka "brick"
    GE 3-5317 recorder. Don't ask.
PANASONIC RX-S35. Sturdy guy with a wonky belt
SANYO MG-41 w/case, box, phones, manual, aka "brick ii"
    SONY WM-F10 II
    SONY WM-FX425 a decent, clean daily-use portable
SONY WM-AF67 w/mic, solid unit with a touchy radio selector
SONY WM-103 super clean but missing battery compartment.
SONY MZ-E40 Minidisc player, mint w/case
SONY MZ-R50 Minidisc player complete in box
    TOSHIBA KT-AS10 w/FM module "walky"
    TOSHIBA KT-4035

I really haven't spent a great deal of time with portables until very recently, so I don't feel very confident in my repair abilities on them, but I"m learning. I do like to listen and play with full-size gear too haha. I have several tape decks, JVC, Denon, Sony; I just got my very first Nakamichi deck, a BX-300, so he's getting my attention first and foremost right now. I'll add more soon. Say hi!!!!! :)
