For the tape i suspect its likely just because after years the band gets hard and ill need to replace it and idk what is wrong with the batteries but i figure itll be obvious enough once i get inside. I just want some help on opening it cuz its a pain in the ass to open and i dont want to break it and any other problems that come up. Its fine if you cant or dont have the time but id appreciate it a lot if you could.

Hey so I just got myself a JVC RC-W40 on ebay for $6, and I came across your post you did on the same model that you fixed up for your sister a couple years back, and was wondering if you could help me at all with fixing it. Basically the tape wont spin, and it wont run on batteries. Btw i need to split it into 2 messages...
