I recently acquired an Akai PM-01 walkman with the Stereo Tuner Pack model FM-01 and I'm looking to learn anything I can about it including its worth. I do know that it is about the fifth portable walkman model ever made, however I can't find much else about it. The one I have does work and sounds great!

All I know is they didn't seem to make many models, but they did have some rebadged for TEAC and one other company that I can't remember
I have the PM-R2 (1983) and I'm really fond of it, partly as it's a little more scarce, partly because I love a huge cassette window!

There are a couple of PM-01s for sale on eBay I noticed.. It appears to be their most basic model

Wow, that TEAC is really nice! The Akai PM-01 really looks like a Toshiba, even the name badge looks like they private labeled it.
