Around the world you can go to the local craftsmen's market, the starting price is always something like $2000 but after haggling and leaving a few times you can get the price down to $150. Sometimes the free market isn't always what we are used to. I bet he shows customers...."look I've got it on the internet for $xxxxx, but for you $xxxx" and then they think they are getting something of value.

I suppose if he is he probably only needs to sell about one a month to pay his rent etc. Whenever, I think something is ridiculously priced I wonder if someone like Elton John or Roman Abramovich would think the same way. Selling things on Ebay I have noticed there is a often a big disconnect between people's buy it now prices and what things actually sell for in the auctions.
I see some of the most gorgeous cars ever there. Muiras, a Countach and what looks like an Espada? (a fugly car if I may say). Jay has probably the most exotic collection of rare cars including steam powered ones. I'm a big fan of his collection. Nice post Risingsunproject.
