i recently bought this cassette deck about a week ago and I have to say this is an amazing cassette deck. It is dentifely a lot of first. My first 3 head cassette deck, My first top of the line deck, My first quartz lock deck, and My first cassette deck with an auto calibration system.

Now I can finally record on my memorex tapes with out having any problems and now this is my new main cassette deck that will be replacing my jvc kd-d50.

If i use a nice deck for recording I will use good quality cassettes as well. I am not sure if memorex fits in to that category :iconconfused:

You do make a good point I just tested one of the Memorex Db tape and was a little disappointed. It did sound better than it was be for I testes it on kd-50. Oh well I guess ill stick to my TDK and Maxell tapes instead.

That deck looks nice. I couldn't see it very much with that low light photo but the blue leds look cool. And with that features it must sound quite well. I remember that MFSL music label used modified JVC for their duplicating so you guess...
