lurking in a hidden drawer. Microsoft doesn't even make a driver compatible with it either. The say they do, but no...

    Mistakes were made...

This was Microsoft's answer to the iPod. It went the way of the dodo bird real quick...

No problem Reno. It's not like I'm running out to put the Zune back on the iPod challenge. It's more of a relic that functions...sorta like me!

Weighs a ton compared to the sleek iPod but it feels robust.

I have read that the Zune sounds much better than any iPod. so even though they haven't had much popularity, they can be a good companion...

I never had a zune so my experience is limited to listening to it in some stores that always play loud back ground music. So is it the zune's hardware that makes the song quality better or the Song's format itself?

I can't honestly say if it sounds better than any particular unit but it's not bad.

@ Sotza.... That was the reaction I got when I bought a clock radio with a Zune charging port. The clerk just looked at me, with tears in his eyes. Tears of laughter I think

I'm surprised you found one. In contrast Sony seemed to offer a range of MP3 players and phones - and a range of clock radios etc "Made for Ipod". Whose idea was that ?

Here in the UK the legend of the Zune is just that because it was never sold here.

@Longman . This was a few years ago but this device was relefated to the back, back, back shelf. I believe it was an Ihome product if memory serves. we've since replaced it with a iPod charging version.

I'm sure someone at Microsoft got tossed as a result of this marketing blunder.
