    Cheers! I bought this deck back in the mid 80's. She was seriously second hand then! The GX-260 dates from the early 70's and judging by the date codes on the capacitors inside mine, I think she was built in 1973. This machine still works perfectly and sounds nice! Akai had a real knack for building things to last!
