I have had a Discwasher D'Mag for probably over sixteen years. On Tuesday, February 7, 2017, the Sharp GF-800H(S) that I ordered from an eBay seller in The Ukraine arrived here at our home. Will using the Discwasher D'Mag on the tape decks of the GF-800 or on the tape decks of any other sound systems that I have here help? The problem is with this vintage audiocassette Sleeping Beauty - Highlights. It features performances of works by Pyotr Tchaikovsky. During playback, it frequently and unlistenably screeches, at times causing the audio system to stop playing the audiotape altogether. Will demagnetizing the audio system's tape decks help?
