    Interesting indeed.....But I am struggling to understand how a reel design would enable "no azimuth errors"

    I like the wood veneered reels. I assume this is the "hand made" part. :biggrin:!!

    well, that's not wood veneer, that's brass/copper-plated brushed aluminium

    I don't know what is worse, linseed-oiling or Tarni-Shield rubbing...everyway is a nice gift.
    And the Unisef is amazing!

    Oops! I think the shell is welded
