    what is the model of this walkman? probably your best choice is to find another walkman to use the parts

    I did that also ! but the other one had broken that part too..It's very sensitive to storage conditions I'm afraid..!

    The model is WM-FX 551

    Does it jam when trying to play a tape?
    I have the same model that all looks ok but will jam

    Correct it will jam 'cause this plastic pinion is cracked..
