    Hi there,
I've got my hands on several Sony WM and did some simple repairs on them, i.e. belt replacement on DD10 and EX670.
I could get my hands on a DD9: pretty clean outside shape for +/- 850€. No original accessories with it. The revers function is busted. It's supposed to be a simple belt fix.

I already own several DD: DD3, DC2 and I'd be happy to have the DD9 too.

Should I go grab it and repair it myself?

I know the recent prices on eBay are way overrated for the DD9.

    What do you think, guys?

Personally I would not pay that kind of money for a broken DD9, I would not even pay that for a fully working one. But I guess if you have the money and you really want it that badly.
The DC2 you have sounds better than the DD9.

The DD9 is the only Walkman I have that does not get used much, my first choice when going out is the DC2 then it the D6C all used with a separate external headphone amp.
