I posted this up in the other forum a few months back. For those that don't browse over there, and have a Pioneer disco robo with deteriorated cassette deck console panel, I have replacements for sale. Instead of the original thin film (fake) buttons, I decided to create my own version, which uses solid "true" buttons. This new setup offers a true hardware solution with buttons that actuate with little effort, provide a nice click feedback and will never deteriorate, scratch or puncture like the originals. The kit requires 4 buttons and 1 panel. Each piece can be custom ordered in different color or materials although the default is recommended and is what I used on mine. Compared to the original panels, these will last forever and will never fail you again. You can order them direct here: https://www.shapeways.com/shops/analog-alley Or I have 1 additional extra set here that I can sell if you don't want to wait for the pieces to be manufactured (printed) for you. PM me if interested. Lastly, I also have 2 of the thin film versions (like the originals). I originally purchased them awhile back but didn't like the feel of them which is why I decided to make my own. If you have need one one but want to retain the original look, then PM me. Price is basically what I paid for them (I only wish to get my money back).
Those look great, I'd love to find Disco Robo around here, maybe I'll hit some garage sales today....
