First buy in ages!

Not really bought much recently as I've been busy with my jukebox and I'm at a stage with my collecting where I'm getting pickier and pickier lol. Anyway, I couldn't resist this rare Crown as it's a really beauty. I have the 850 and the 950 and they're two great boxes. Hadn't seen a 945 come up in a long long time so I bagged it.

Arrived quickly and well packed, just filthy as hell as usual. So it got the usual full strip down, scrub and polish. It came out really well. Love it

 

Turned out really nice , your'e right don't see these often, I've never really liked the grills on these kind of spoils the look, but now there clean and black again they look good with the shiny chrome, congrats

945 is a nice pair to 950, IMO, love those analog VUs as well.

Ha ha it's actually one of the recycling bins without the lid on...I wanted to leave it for a good soak and I spotted the bin was the perfect size

Congrats northerner, seems to be a 950 with VU meters and different tweeter covers, can you tell us which one has better bass .

 

They seem much the same, though I haven't listened to them side by side
