Just sold an Akai 646 reel to reel in good condition that I have had for over 35 years. I am debating whether to keep my Aiwa mini-component system as it has a broken function button (eject) on the cassette player. Does anyone know where I may be able to get a part replacement?

Welcome neighbor! For sure you won't be able to get such parts from PartsExpress, so it should scavenged from a similar 'for parts' unit or fixing what you have. Or making it from scratch

Welcome! Those AIWA Buttons tend to be delicate, I've got a few decks with broken keys and I've thought about getting into casting a new piece. There's a ton of videos on YouTube showing the process, otherwise you'd have to find a parts unit but even those are going for a lot of money. Post some photos of the broken unit and maybe someone can help.
