I looked at the speaker grill and found “sound space”, then I googled it and couldn’t find the answer. Then I narrowed the search to “Sanyo sound space” and still couldn’t find what boombox this one is. I am sure this is the easy answer for deech or reli or tster or radio rahim or master nick or James or ..... Anyway, happy Halloween
Sanyo PH-WCD3. The best "Stereo Wide" I've heard in this size one-piecers due to I believe a pair of speakers angled outwards.
You're bang on it Mystic T! A wonderful belated example of the magic Sanyo could still concot in terms of design and functionality even during the decline-and-fall era of the classic boombox. It has a hidden CD-tray, digital clock and digital tape counter. The "Surround" function is unbelievable, you can choose among three positions so as to get no, medium or full surround. A late masterpiece of a masterful brand. Definitely not a trick, this unit is a gorgeous Halloween treat!

Great Sal ! That is a nice mini Sanyo packed with features. Halloween or not , this 90s unit can compete with most of the 80s big hitters anytime. Its kind of beautifull too for the era that represents.
Yeah, I was surprised to find out that a unit of the CD era could be so much into the spirit of the 80s. I'll post pics of my new babe asap -- she's now out to the beauty parlor. You know after Halloween you have to get rid of the makeup, don't you?
