Hi, I'm Mralexs. I joined because I need to figure out what model of portable cassette player/radio my dad had when he was in Japan in the 90's. It had an external battery that you unscrewed to put a AA in, had a map of the Japanese prefectures and a list of radio stations, which I think it could automatically tune to. It was a grey box too.
welcome to S2G @mralexs You should provide more details that way we can help you with the maker and model of that specific walkman. There are a lot of walkman units that connect to external battery compartment. Was there a mini LCD screen on the walkman?? What do you mean?
