I have a couple of these poor performing 90's Cassette players.
Both need new belts which are available .
Anyone had these apart before and have any pictures of where the belts should go?,

I'm sure ill work it out but best if I get a heads up.

    Regards

You can get the service manual from Elektrotanya

    https://elektrotanya.com/hitachi_trk-3d30.pdf/download.html

If you aren't familiar with the site the download link is just below the preview picture where it says:

This file is downloadable free of charge: Processing

Wait about a minute for Processing to change to "Download Manual".

Avoid the other links which are adverts.

I have just done that and there are some useful exploded views towards the end.

p.s Hitachi might have something to say about "poor performing".
According to the manual it is a "High Performance Portable Creative Sound System".

Nope, he's right, these are pretty poor performers. Suitable for playback only as they are wholly unsuitable for recording with massive w&F.

Still, they look ok and are easy enough to rebelt. They are heavily fatiguing on the ears though....
