i love cassettes because ....beautiful design

    Looks like my office floor, but they're only down there cuz I'm cleaning and I'll put them back up, someday. The good news is we have the smaller power cord ends, you oversea guys have those monster-sized connections.

    Clearly, one needs a Walkman with a large window to appreciate the beauty of a rotating cassette. Also, the DD-9 looks very sexy.

    Today I found these two beauties. Nothing special in terms of tape, but I find them very handsome. I especially like the rounded case.

    They did a really poor job of explaining why someone should buy the SA-XS instead of the SA-X, or the XLII-S instead of the XLII for example.

    My rectangular-window ones. I especially like the TDK at the bottom, which seems as if it has bigger hubs, but it does not.
