parts of my UHER-collection so far: 1979 Dolby-Hifi-Cassette-Deck CR-240 with pre-amp VG-840 and tuner EG-740, 2nd. deck is a Report 4200 Monitor 1/2 track reel-to-reel stereo. All powered by Z-141 external power-supply, there's no power-amp, but I do run this most beautyfull mini-tower with a set of (also 1979) pair of RESTEK Laser active-speaker.
I heard Uher time is like Hammer time except minus the silly trousers? Seriously though, lovely bits of kit arent they..
I was just looking at a website with the coolest recording units of all time and thinking I'll never see one live in my lifetime. Outstanding units that are very pleasant to look at!
...you should have seen the pants I was wearing while setting up those babies in my shelve - and the silly dance going with it ;-)
