Just finished a light restoration of a National RX SR25 walkman - not a remarkable or particularly interesting machine but I needed to restore the control legends. This meant ordering clear labels with extra stickiness, buying a laser printer, and driving myself crazy with MS Word and tables with 2-mil-square cells. And you can't print white, so I had to go 'destructive' and spray a white background on the walkman. Then, despite all the promises made by the label manufacturer, I found that the ink scratched off real easy, so I had to do a final spray of an evil choking clear coat. Would I bother again? Probably not.

Nice work and I know the feeling, I screen printed a ton of hockey pucks years ago, the guys on the team thought they were really cool but then after sliding on the ice for a few minutes, it scrapped all of the ink off. The printing looks great, at least if it's a display model you wouldn't have to worry about it.

Thank you Mister X, nice to have one's hard work appreciated. I guess with the hockey pucks you'd have to bake the logo in during production, like Brighton Rock? Cheers,
    Nick.
