I count no less than 12 collectible or potentially valuable units in that auction. WM-2s, DDs, some nice Aiwas, and most of the rest are decent mid range models.
The seller claims they are defective, but I think getting most of these running should not be an issue. Lots of practice on cracked DD gears!

If I had any positive experience with Walkmans rejuvenation, I would have gotten myself a heart attack seeing this treasure!!! I am not bidding, but it will be fun to watch!!

    @kitchen10 Thanks for the tip!

I think this seller doesnt ship to US. This is a good deal for those who can repair walkmans

If you pay, they always ship! :)
Just this month I scored Loewe CD-100 Discman for my collection, my Dream finally materialized!!!!!! Seller was not shipping to the US, but for $60 shipping he did, lucky me!!!
This Walkman collection will keep someone happily busy for months, its a great find!

folks, to be honest - i'm almost 100% convinced that i sold exactly that lot a few years ago
(i'm not kidding !), so if it is the lot from me all the DD-types have defective centergear,
    there's many units with missing battery-lid, the TCM7 f.ex. doesn't close properly etc.etc.

when i sold'em they were more (can't find my auction-pics anymore), at least 60 - so the
this is the filtered rest. now decide if you wanna go for it or not...

Still an interesting batch to get some serious walkman-overhaul practice on :)
Curious to see for how much it will go.

I already have boxes of walkmans over 100 last time I tried counting all of them, so no as I don't really need anymore than what I have.

Yes you may take my broken ( not fixable by me at my level of knowledge and lack of expensive test equipment ) Boombox's for the cost of shipping.
My walkmans are reserved for me as they do not take up as much room as the speakered machines boxes do, so these I will be keeping.

I think the cost of postage from the US to England would be prohibitive, but thank you for the offer

Why don't you share your walkman collection in the gallery section? Everybody loves a collection shot!

In time perhaps as I have way too many boombox out and about and I don't really wish to get the hopes up of the Walkman people of what I have as I really don't know anymore as I have moved again after just about finding all of my walkmans the first time - now I have to find them all over again - from the packing box's and the one's that I have bought but not ever opened from ebay and then there is the one ( boodo khan that I have yet to open - long story = involving JohnEdward-he-is-passed ),
In the collections area I was thinking of sharing my picture progress of moving in to my mom's house - so to see what is on the shelf behind what is in the same shelf in front - got it ?

I love the "solid block of aluminum" look of AIWA at the bottom-left corner. Are they any good compared to Sony DD?
