This is my latest find, a brand new six cassettes Memorex Mrx3 Oxide pack. Behind the impressive Mrx3 oxide terminology there is a humble ferric tape (Type 1) of average performance (http://www.bostonaudiosociety.org/pdf/bass/BASS-08-03-7912.pdf).
Nice find! What about the pads? I assume they are foam type but not sure... Well aged? Amazing BAS link... !
Thanks guys. Yes it seems rare ,I have never seen one before especially in brand new condition! The pads are made of felt without metal spring and actually look and feel very healthy. About the link.....you're right ,here is an extraction :
