    Hi everyone!
I wonder if there’s a solution for the broken flex ribbon cables for the early wm-f10 series?
Any cool DIY solutions or maybe someone tried to reproduce them?
I’m pretty sure these cables are mostly defective these days or on the way there. I have two Walkmans with no radio and front LED, and I’m thinking about running 8 thin wires somehow but
    It’s not an elegant solution...
Let me know what you think
    Thanks!

I just watched a video on YouTube but can't remember who made it on fixing ribbon cables, maybe 8-bit guy? I think Molex might have made a lot of the end connections, you might be able to source a box of ends and grab some cable. I had a MD player with a broken cable years ago and never did fix it but that was right before the internet exploded. I've looked into and know people are fixing them but I don't have any info on the top of my head.

Well, the old wm-f10 has this narrow area exactly where the cassette sits at the door hinge point so
It’s just a matter of time until it’s going to break...
Thanks anyway- I’ll try to find something similar in there...
