Hi I'm trying to restore this after the poor thing clearly had some battery acid damage the motor is completely locked up, does anyone have one that I could buy? Kind regards Ross
Unfortunately the B602 has a different motor. It's a brushless 3-phase disc motor, while the WM-501 is a normal brushed motor. One of the worst designs I might add as the bottom bearing doesn't have a hole to lubricate it. The WM-100/200 series also have a different motor: similar 3-phase brushless design but different than B602. I would try to unlock the original motor or buy a donor unit. There are a couple of methods I would try: 1. With a thin piece of cotton immersed in IPA clean the area beneath the pulley. 2. Put some oil or WD-40 into the top bearing and let it sit a couple of days. 3. Remove the pulley: it can be easily removed by heating it with a soldering iron until the brass expands enough to not be a press-fit anymore.
