Hello Mr X I too had Tyco trains growing up and I had huge layout with mountains and bridges at this time I have a few trains but I don't have them set up they mostly Lionel trains and I have American Flyer train set . But my 5 year old nephew is getting into trains now .
I was at out local hobby store buying presents and I always have to check out the train section. They stock all kinds of cool stuff to build whatever you want but sadly most of the stock looks 30+ years old and there's not much movement. Luckily it looks really cool on display. Hopefully your nephew loves it, it's a fun hobby and it's not hard to vintage sets for sale.
