Welcome back MRmObile. Everyone had to open a new account when the site moved to a new platform. The admins have a copy of the old database but it would be expensive to work out how to import it. To answer your question Texet is a company I would normally associate with calculators. They still sell them. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Texet-SL-0...d=1501309981&sr=8-1&keywords=texet+calculator It is quite likely that any boombox they sold was made by someone else i.e an AKA. If you could post a picture someone might recognise it.
Hi - it's this one https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/e110...ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/192256279870&sojTags=bu=bu
Quite unusual although it looks like the sort of thing Amstrad would have sold. Of course both these makes were aiming at the Woolworths end of the market, what my Father would have described as "Cheap and Cheerful". I have to say that the TV raster doesn't look right to me. Even with no signal I would expect a screen full of snow, not a thin band. It might be due to the way the photo was taken. There are many things (e.g. a Sky box) that can still generate a suitable signal so it would be nice to see a real picture.
Yes Texet boxes were aka's of other brands. Many of the high street own brands were rebranded as Texet, these themselves were made by someone else.
