    I guess you can call it an unusual boombox.
    This seller could remove those tapes and clean it before place it on Ebay.

    As far as I know, a boombox should have:
    A.) A Handle
    B.) AC/DC (Battery) Power
    C.) A Tuner
    D.) A Tape Deck
    E.) External Speaker(s)

    If it meets the criteria, I guess it might be a boombox.
