    Hi Folks,

I'm after the part number for the battery case for the PX303 please, along with the part number for the original mains adaptor, and also the DC output specs for the adaptor as well.

Can anyone help with these please?

    Hi Michelle,
Probably the adaptor should be like this, I'm not certain as I wasn't few years back in a similar question in the old forum, you still can read it here ,it has some useful info but is a total mess.

Many thanks for this. I do have an AC-205E but interestingly it is putting out the same. 2v at 350mA.

You're right about the old thread. Lots of 404.

The AC-207E does give me another model number to search for. Looking at these, however, I'm coning to the conclusion that a generic PSU putting out 2V, even if it is capable of more than 350mA, will sort that problem out for me.

The difference is in the INPUT :Aiwa AC207- 230v 50/60Hz 10VA and Aiwa AC205-230v 50/60Hz 7VA ,still strange model designation though.

I just looked all over my battery compartment inside and out and there is no model number printed on it :(

One thing to note about this case is that it's more complex than the Sony ones. I has a circuit board inside that regulates the voltage from the batteries down to 2V.

I was also thinking about 3D printing... but then I thought about the thumbscrew and that would not be so easy to replicate in a solid material. Regulating the batteries down to 2V is achievable. Still got a chunk of thinking and hunting to do. Shame about the lack of model number. I did try and hunt based on the part number listed in the guide, but got no hits.
