    Morning all,

Question about speakers, hoping someone can confirm. One of the 777 Subs is blown, I think, making a horrible flapping sound when turned up, swapped channels, same sound on same speaker. Is it possible to replace all 4 units with the same make and model, and the amp decides the frequencies?

For example fitting 4x identical units with a frequency range of 40-5khz, 72mm depth. I read the link below which suggests it is a straight swap, nothing else needed?

Looking around some time ago I found pictures of a GF777 fitted with Alpine speakers

    https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=s...h=739#imgrc=0zmmfj-CcGc7oM:&spf=1510781851976

It inspired me to fit the same make in my WQ-T282E
It was my idea to use the old speakers as mounts.
The speakers actually came with Clips that look as if they might be suitable for a GF777
doing the same job as the tabs the other person made in their Pyle speakers.
