Hello there, I have a Sanyo M-G55 auto reverse player that plays too quite in one channel and has awful crackly motor noise that's super loud, I've tried a few methods to fix this but no luck.
    Is this a capacitor issue?
    thanks.

These are some of the most common complaints for old players, there's a lot of things that could be causing these issues and you need to drill down on all of them starting with the easiest. It helps if you post what you've already tried but the basics are, clean tape path with IPA, the closer to 100% the better. DeOxit the controls or FaderLube if they're sliders. Check audio with a different pair of headphones, the wires on some of these are miniscule and tend to break over time. Open the unit and look over the headphone jack for bent connections or loose (broken) wiring. This may also need to be cleaned out if there's corrosion or gunk in there. While it's open, look over the circuit board for leaking or bulging capacitors.
