Did you check out the prices ? I would guess the Sony Radio would still fetch a decent price. In contrast the $275 chess computer looks like the sort of think LGR would find for $10 at Goodwill.
I had the opportunity to buy one of these monster Sony for $100 around 2 months ago. But I passed on it because its so beat up... (Like really beat up. Almost no good patch of paint left in the front panel). Seems like no 0ne's bought it yet though. So it's kinda still somewhat on my wish list
