Sony TCD-D100 advice

Hi, i bought a TCD-D100, it plays DAT cassettes, FWD, RWD, records, but the issue is that quite often "eats" the tapes. Destroyed one already. I have opened the device and everything looks ok in terms of gears. Any advice what I can do to service it and make it more stable when reading tapes? Like, from the photos areas/gears I need to clean with alcohol or oil them...

 

There are some cracked gears, known issue on this model.
