I recently received these two cassette players as part of an auction in Japan. Sony TCM-7 is cassette player/recorder with logic controls with a built-in speaker. Seems to be one of the early Sony logic controlled units. Takes two AA batteries. No rust or leaks. Sony TCM-400 is a micro cassette player/recorder. Takes two AA batteries. No rust or leaks. The units appear to be in great shape. No rust or leaks. None of them turn on or show signs of power/life. Issue might be beyond just a belt and may need more electronic/capacitor work. Checking to see if there is interest out there for these units or if I should just keep them for parts. Ebay has similar units listed but in functional condition. I don't feel like going the Ebay route... Please PM me if anyone is interested and make an offer or for more pictures .
