Hello, I have a WM-3 and am trying to restore it at the moment. I disassembled the mechanism to relubrication it and replace any rubber parts including the pinch roller, but there is still a noticeable wow and flutter. listening to the rhythm of W&F it looks like it syncs up with the spinning of the Capstan pulley. On closer inspection it looks like the brass pulleys are either worn or corroded, but on each pulley it only covers about have the circumference (see the copper lookin stuff on them?). I'm considering trying to sand it down to get a more even surface since it feels pretty rough and alcohol doesn't really help. Has anyone else ever run into this problem and have found some sort of solution? would a light grit sand paper or steel wool help? Thanks!
