I’ve been looking for odd or branded Walkman this week. I found a Godzilla movie edition, a Radiohead OK Computer which wasn’t Sony and now this cheeky effort.

Undecided wether to pull the trigger, it has a certain morbid flavour. There’s 2 available... I wonder if you can hear jailbird songs through the headphones on a quiet morning. Or rats squeaking maybe...

It’s ridiculous! Such a basic model. But what does the TV button do?

I expect it is for TV sound on the radio. Possibly useful at Sports Events. Perhaps an American member could enlighten us.
I have seen that on quite a few American market Walkmans. It would be more difficult to do in the UK where you would need an entirely different UHF tuner.

Back in 1980 I bought a radio similar to this to listen to CBers.

You could also receive the UK VHF 405 line TV sound until it was switched off in 1985.

p.s I wonder if the Enron Directors Award was for the person committing the most fraud ? :ok
