Take up pulley not working on play

    I have a Sony WM-F606 that I changed the belt on. the take up pulley on the left side came off during installation. I was able to put it back on without any problems. However when I press FWD or RWD they pulleys work fine. However in play they do not move. Not sure if this has to do with the pulley coming off prior. Any ideas?
