    I will go for different option at times the type of format I would like to play as it give you different kind of feelings. Here are my collection of 80's artist albums of the 3 different formats.

    Not in my mind for other formats because I think Vinyl, cassette and CD are the 3 main S-Curve technological evolution in the music industry. Other than that like MD and DCC are just an advancement over digital format..

    I also have several albums in different formats, but mainly vinyl and cassette only. I love to compare the sound quality to learn about which edition and format sounds better. It's fun!
    I also have a special case: from the Star Wars soundtrack I have around 30 different versions, not because I am a Star wars fan (which I'm not) but because I used this universal music from John Williams to learn about the different editions.
