This is a really cool print, there's still some available in different sizes. http://toddmclellan.bigcartel.com/product/disassembled-Walkman
It looks like Buzzfeed has something similar https://www.buzzfeed.com/theangrylu...assembled-5dn9?utm_term=.moDrX4R34#.axYXVMoNM
Guess there's a few more.... https://www.greenprophet.com/2013/08/gabi-menashe-taking-apart-photographs/
Now it just needs James May to reassemble it. (this comment might be lost on those outside the UK. Alternatively you might be able to watch him on Youtube - blocked in the UK for copyright reasons).
Being an Engineer who has studied Technical Drawing I actually find drawings like these far more impressive, especially as they were done for a purpose (they are out of a service manual). Can anyone work out which Boombox ? Knowing the approximate date they were produced they were probably produced by hand on drawing film with Rotring Pens. The last ten pages of the manual are the parts lists. Just one missing part would have stopped them from completing the boxes.
There's an idea Longman, a 3-D version of an exploded box would be really cool. I used to use Koh-I-Noor Pens in the old days when I took a million drawing classes and used them on a Vemco Mechanical Drafting Machine equipped table. Around the early 90's we started shifting to CAD but that was still $20,000 USD a workstation, so far beyond any student's budget. We had to program in our own 3-D CAD program into the mainframe, I think we used C or Pascal, to get some of the homework done. One of my very old drafting professors had a huge collection of vintage mechanical drawings of really cool things, I always wonder what happened to it after he passed on.
