Hmm ... which is the taller order of our requests, Mart? (Grin) Your seeking a mint-condition Sharp GF-9292 -- clearly one of the "Prince Of Boomboxes" models -- or me seeking a properly working 12-volt Aiwa boombox motor, preferably from an Aiwa CS-600 ... uh, for an Aiwa CS-600U?

So near yet so far! Just got my Sharp GF-9191 back from the restorer last Sunday. I hope someone has a nice 9292 for you. I'm sure someone here must have one but as to whether they would part with it would be another question!

Will continue my search for my dream 9292 - At least i have a couple of decent 9191 models to enjoy for now
Just need to find someone on here who wants to DOWNSIZE their collection (Perhaps one day the fellow member who has 258 boxes might want to free up some storage space & de-clutter? )

And if anyone has a handle and brackets that would fit a Sony FH-909, I'm still looking! :)

    Hi Raheem
    Thank you for you're reply
Guess it must be sentimental & i just love the look of the 92 (Plus the fact that i haven't seen that many collectable boomboxes in real life to compare it with)
My second boombox was a 9191 purchased in 1979 & i still love it to bits - a good 92 would be the icing on the cake for me

    Hi davbush
Can't think of a reply to you're comment at the moment - very very funny!!!! but it will be me that has the last laugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let me know what odds you will give me on finding my 92 and we could make a bet if you're interested?
(Loser to donate the cash to S2G)
