folks, i‘m busy fixing a rfiend‘s Walkman DD. it‘s missing the little spring under the door-opener. does anybody have one of those in spare or knows a source where i can get one ? would be helpful because otherwise i‘ e finished the repair. thanks LOADS !
If no new springs is found, as a substitute, some friends of mine suggested the springs from inside a gas cigarette lighter. But I think the size of spring varies between models, the one I bough twas just a tiny it too big, maybe by 0.5 mm. I've also tried, to some degree of success, making my own springs. Coiling a thin wire round a piece of thicker wire.
