Got a WM-DD9 in to service up recently and whilst i've done quite a few of these in the past without issue this is the first time i've come across this particular problem. The walkman doesn't do its self test reset procedure when a battery is inserted, no lights come up when the buttons are pressed, motors dont run and no noise is made. I've checked that power is going into the board which it is and if I power from a DC PSU then i'm seeing a very small current draw when the play button is pressed for a second or two and then nothing. Boards all look very clean and no battery leakage. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated!
