Hello again guys! So i picked up one Sony WM FX-671 and changed its belt to a new one. It plays fine but the FF and REW funcion all it does is spin the motor for a few seconds and stops not engaging any gears inside... if i press play it will play just fine. I dont get it... I opened it again, desoldered the solanoid pins and the motor pins too to remove the board out and i dont see anything wrong in the mecanism. Can anyone help me on this one? This Walkman has a fantastic sound and has FM radio too. Its a very nice one. Only if i could get FF and REW working again would be great! Belt is new, has good torque, its for this model. The functions are displayed on the screen everytime i press the keys but thats all it does and i can ear the motor spinning for a few secs and then just stops or starts to play when AMS is being used.
