I've just hear these thing last week and I'm 'flipping'. This will blow your mind! :swoon

Important: listen to it with headphones! And then you will hear how the song will really move around your head feeling the sound coming from outside your head and from different places: in front of, behind, even above or below you!

    Advice: better close your eyes.

The thing is about 8D, which doesn't mean 8 dimensions, but directions. Using a very advanced algorithm that emulates how the sound comes into the ear when the source is in front, rear or beside your head, it can effectively make a very surprising effect.
    Impressive!

I had a quick listen to it and it sounds like binaural music gone wrong, it sounds impressive for about 10 seconds. I could not listen to the whole clip, it got very boring quickly.

All I can say is whoever made it sounds like they have only just learned to use the effects, therefore has gone overboard in using it. The effects were just tossed in all over the place without context or meaning.

Just my opinion by the way.

Feels like someone gently scrambles your brain until it melts and then, during the last 30-40sec they watch you from the swings. The effects is very convincing!
I was one of the first adopters of h/p amp "crossfeed" technology, still have and sometimes even use Sennheiser Lucas, also bought a few CDs with binaural (artificial head) recordings. To my ears, nothing beats good old Lehmann's Black Cube Linear with Sennheisers HD-650, but here we have an example that special effects, they are getting better. Lets hope there will be more real music done this way: I am not going to waste extra thousands for a surround-sound system (and place myself inside the orchestra) but through the headphones, why not?

This is awesome! It sounded really far away, and then like someone was behind me. Nice find!

I ran it through my trusty Pioneer SE-50's, pretty convincing but yes having sound just spinning around wasn't that great, but it might be fun to try it out in a room and try to get the same effect.

I have yet to find an article off Stereophile where it was mentioned that HP throws $1Billion into this kind of sound for the Virtual Reality experience, here is a good example that something is being done!!!!!! Crappy tune but, Wow!, the effect is unbelievably believable!!!

I wonder how closely this mimics quad headphones that were popular for a very brief time in the 70's? So while I was raking leaves and thinking about this, could you put your speakers and aim them at your couch from the side, and get surround sound?

I did follow the instructions from some Electronic Music LP booklet and set two extra speakers, wired off-phase to the main stereos: it did nothing for me. Same with Dolby Pro-Logic, it just muddies the sound. For the real thing you need SACDs into surround which I do not have
