That made me think of the "Electric Dreams" TV series in which a family lived a decade a week. By the 1990s the Gadgets were arriving quicker than they could unpack them.

All speakers here, you should see the rubbish outside mine now lol....the sansui's are beutiful and while they dont sound as good as my monitor audio Rx8 they have a real deep warm 70's sound and the highs are crisp clear and sparkling, i don't regret the purchase, they look brand new, someone must have fully restored them as i fail to see how something so old can look brand new:wavey::groupwave

I have the opposite issue - I have loads of amplifiers and no speakers to drive with them! :lollegs:

    Love those Sansuis, RR. :nodding:

Thanks henry, i have loads of amplifiers to but most are unacessable, the sansui's are fantastic mate, the bass is that low it's interfearing with my ears lol
there was a much bigger pair on our ebay a few days ago but i just don't have the room, also the drivers look much better in mine:wink2

I also have 2 pairs of technics speakers like this with white drivers but there not a patch on the sansui ones

Glad you're happy with your purchase, RR! I need to get some new speakers for the bedroom system - my Gale Model 2's are getting a bit tired-looking. Maybe they can replace the dog-chewed Technics pair in the shed...
