Fantastic meet and a lost opportunity for me -- but this time nothing went the way I wished Great people, great boxes, great pics and gorgeous organization. I find it especially magic that two communities, stereo2go and boomboxery, got an opportunity to get even closer than they already are. That's what these forums are all about: sharing a common passion and enjoying it together whenever we get a chance. Waiting forward for a repica -- possibly sooner than in a year from now, I dare suggest...
That was a great day meeting great people. I have been chatting for years with them, never thought I would get the chance to shake their hands and crank some radios. TONS of super clean 9/10 - 10/10 examples of some of the rarest and most desirable systems ever made. Very inspiring. Looking forward to the next one! Thank you to Hisrudeness for all his hospitality and to everyone who attended.
Great to see everyone enjoying the meet up, pictures are great, radios look in pristine codition, also food looks delicious , thanks for sharing guys,
Dave (imalanpartridge), Chris (lasonic trc920), Dave (Docs), Charlotte (the brains behind Docs), Seb, Rory (hisrudeness), me, Geoff (geoffhartwell), Tre (tster), Lee (stereomad) Hope that helps
Date for the next meet is set for 30th-31st March 2018. The venue will be in the North of England, near Manchester.
Its great, meets like this really forge bonds and create a community. This was a great meet and the first of hopefully many.
Wrong choice of words i think , they need more than repairing, like it though. Would have loved to be there, sounds like it was a great day. I think i will be ok on refurb of 777 but good to know friends who can help if issue's arise. Carrying out complete refurb on 777 then move on to my 767, waiting for a few parts and graphics to be sorted on 777 at moment. Great to here from you
Yeh sorry, cheap joke lol...but hey I like cheap laughs I have a 777 that I bought as parts but I hate to see a good boombox die so I repaired it instead
