Hello all, not a lot of boxes the last few weeks as you can tell from my previous posts but found a couple today.

Here are three of todays finds...all Made in Japan, and still with the stickers to show it.

A very interesting looking Aiwa TPR-250.

Five Band Radio Cassette Recorder with Variable Monitor and two-way speaker. Very sensitive radio on this one even without the aerial. The aerial extends to about four feet and doesn't droop! Very heavy too, even without batteries.

Next a Sony CFS-47L in nice condition too.
    DSC_2041.JPG

Lastly a very sturdily built JVC D-E5 cassette deck.

I like the looks of this and the full logic system. I've never usually had a thing for cassette doors but I really noticed the build quality to this part. It's a nice quality, solid plastic encased in a metal frame which is a perfect fit. Took it off to clean and was so impressed. It just looks like it's been put together like a swiss watch and it cleaned up so well even with my basic cleaning methods. Still works nicely too!

More tomorrow hopefully, if I can wake up on time!

A new carboot I've not been to before and it paid off! The Walkmans and CD players are all from this morning from two sellers and I got a good deal as I basically took the lot.

    Sony WM-F2081
    DSC_2076.JPG
    DSC_2078.JPG

Panasonic KXL-783A - not sure if this plays normal CD's yet in isolation of a computer but will find out! UPDATE - it does play as a normal cd player. Really nice sound through headphones. I may need to compare this to a few of my Discmans and Technics XP5 and 7 as this sounds really good but maybe I'll feel differently after a comparison. I don't think a lot of those little speakers at the top though, no good, but I suppose handy if working with a computer just to monitor.
    DSC_2075.JPG

Aiwa TX657 - Like new, was in its case but case is too perished to show or use.
    DSC_2074.JPG

A box of TDK Chrome Cassettes, nice for £3!
    DSC_2071.JPG

Won't spend too much time on this one...
    DSC_2064.JPG

    Panasonic SL-S650
    DSC_2066.JPG

    Sony WM-EX194
    DSC_2065.JPG

    Sony TCM -150
    DSC_2063.JPG

Toshiba KT-4139 - UPDATE- on testing this it's playing and FF/RW is at double speed, just like a D6C that's had its IC chip blown.
    DSC_2061.JPG

    With strange shaped headphones.....
    DSC_2059.JPG

    Sony WM-B19
    DSC_2053.JPG

    Aiwa HS-T19
    DSC_2054.JPG

    Aiwa HS-G53
    DSC_2052.JPG

    Toshiba KT-4529
    DSC_2051.JPG

An Aiwa HS-G35 - second one I've found recently, there was one a week or maybe two weeks ago.
    DSC_2056.JPG

Nice MDR-W10 headphones - nice as not bent out of shape!
    DSC_2060.JPG

And finally for the walkmans of this morning, 2x WM-EX5! One has battery pack as you can see. Very close to each other in serial number but one has much better mirror effect than the other. Maybe due to less sun exposure/pocket rubbing over the years?
    DSC_2062.JPG

Nice-ish Sansui tape deck, Marantz Amp and a Technics turntable, but all still in the car. Will update later.

Well it sucks to be me:hissyfit:

I don't have ANYTHING this good near me. I'm in love with the Sony CFS-47 (I'm listening to a 45 at the moment) and the MDR10 headphones:eek2:

That's pretty much what I though when I saw it! Have just put some batteries in and it powers up but will need a new belt before I can see if it's any good. Can hear the motor so hopefully will be good.

Did you manage to keep a straight face as you handed over your fiver ?
Recently (when purchasing a quite boring Roland Midi interface) I got the comment from the seller
    "I should have said more shouldn't I".

Yes I kept my cool, didn't hang around chatting to them, it was a quick deal over in seconds. Wanted to get away and have a proper look at it as I didn't bother taking it out the case until I was away.
And five pound was their asking price...so I didn't try to negotiate it down :)

Went out again this morning so here are today's finds....

First two are a Aiwa R550 Cassette Deck and on the bottom of that, a Denon DCD-800 CD player. Will clean both up later this afternoon and see if they work. Not expecting the tape to but you never know!
    1502623431413412454203.jpg

Off topic so forgive me.....but Astro Wars!
    15026236411591869642733.jpg

One of these which are great for component systems.
    1502623733019959103126.jpg

New in box Panasonic SL-SX400 with all it's accessories.
    1502623873052724758370.jpg

Discman case (any ideal which model this was for? I probably already have the Discman for this).
    15026239686471045134151.jpg

    Panasonic RQ-SX56
    15026240426661130379511.jpg

23x Maxell Metal Cassettes. I never find new Metal tapes at car boots so was quite happy, and £10 for all 23. The case is mine already.
