Geoff and I though about shooting some golf balls at them one day, maybe some ice hockey pucks wouldn't be bad either! Of course I wanted to shoot soccer balls at it... y'know... somewhat of a slower death!! but not that much slower, I can still kick a nasty shot! I'll keep posting these if I get some feedback on it, especially if anyone of us ended up getting one or two! It's always nice to know that it was worth my time posting these up. The Euro, Pound and USD still hold great advantage over our Canadian buck at this moment. In essence, now is the time to buy from Canada!
Hey T, make a move man! $30CAD equals to just over 18 pounds!! You must have that in your pocket right now! Make it worth it for the guy to ship it over you. I have never seen a boombox like this one!! The other Sanyo for $30 CAD, from 1979 was like... I can't even describe it! It'd be a real treat for anyone here at the Forum!!
Hey Surfer!! No! I won't!! Forget it!! Just kidding! Hey bud, the Sanyo is not mine. It belongs to a guy in Quebec (I think). Take a closer look at the "Kijiji" listing and then attempt to communicate with the guy. You might have to sign up with Kijiji though. You will have to do some good convincing to get him to ship to Croatia! I play soccer (Football) here in Canada with many Croatians. I'm actually going to play indoor soccer (almost like futsal) in the winter in their team! I might send you a picture later!! Good Luck with the Quebec gentleman and the Sanyo!

Good luck friend with your purchase, and don't be cheap, make it worthwhile for the guy to send it all the way there! $30 Canadian dollars is nothing! I know Croatia is a beautiful country! I had Croatian neighbours for 10 years. Nice, nice people! I've had many Croatian friends here in Canada throughout the years! You never know... I really like the idea of "playing by the green table with beers"!! And with one of our Boomboxes playing "Rock you Like a Hurricane" by the Scorpians, and very loud! "Here I am!!... Rock you like a Hurricane!!... you see, the Hurricane is me... playing by the green table... scoring a goal on you! Where's that soccer gremlin when you need him?
