That's a JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) Top Portable Compo from the Victor Company of Japan. :)
Back in that time it was a way more expensive than JVC RC-M90, for example.
Scored that beast a couple of years ago in Japan.

I've never seen JVC PC-7, either in flesh or on photos, which makes me think there were no such a model.
Most probably JVC PC-6 is the top in namely JVC Portable Compo series.
And vice versa, never got wind that Victor PC-6 ever existed.

Nice, I see the graphic equaliser as a main difference, but overall really similar units!

A-ha, plus PC-7 boasts 2-way bass reflex speakers as opposed to one way bass reflex ones at PC-5.

I have the lowest-end one (UK model). Anyone know where I can get some replacement speakers? I replaced them some time ago with some car stereo speakers, but they're not as good even though they're two-way...I think the impedance is different (4ohm and should be 6ohm?). So, I'd kinda like to put some more appropriate ones in there.

I'd love to find out the part numbers for the speakers inside those speaker boxes...I guess they're the same as the ones on the PC-3...if you have a mind to open up the back of one of them :)
